Specially designed for busy professionals, you’ll explore the complexity of health systems and apply systems thinking to health systems strengthening (HSS). You’ll critique major health system frameworks, analyze health system inequities, and interrogate the evidence for HSS approaches. You’ll be equipped with the knowledge and skills to develop HSS interventions across areas such as health policy, health financing, human resources, supply chain management, quality of care and private sector engagement.
Based on the blended learning course we are offering to UNICEF staff, this free course is open for organisations to utilize in training their own staff, either as standalone modules or in facilitated training settings.
The course will run on a rolling basis several times per year. Participants will receive a free certificate of completion from the University of Melbourne and UNICEF upon completion of the course.
